Our Journey So Far

Frontline Trays & Trailers is a locally owned and operated family business in the Goulburn Valley, Victoria.

Our Journey So Far

A story of two brothers, resilience, and a
dream built from the ground up.

Some businesses start with money, strategy, or perfect timing.
Ours started with two brothers — Sean and Jamie — born and bred in Shepparton,
raised on loyalty, grit, and the belief that nothing is impossible if we back
each other.

Growing Up Together

We’ve been a team our whole lives. Growing up, we were
inseparable. When Sean became sick at six years old and ended up in a
wheelchair, nothing changed between us — not where it mattered. Jamie had his
back then just as he does now. He’d even wheel around in a wheelchair himself
so Sean never felt like the odd one out. To our family and friends, Sean was
treated no differently, and that shaped who we are today — resilient,
determined, and grounded.

Before we were even old enough to work, we were already hustling.
We took on a paper run, and with Sean in an electric wheelchair, we built a
custom trailer for the back. Jamie would sit in the trailer while Sean drove,
and together we smashed delivery records. That drive pushed us to take on more
and more runs — our first taste of building something our own way.

Our Paths Begin to Take
Shape

Once we were old enough, Jamie dove straight into work.
After-school shifts at the milkbar and video shop eventually led him into an
apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Body Building at Shepp Motor Body Builders. He
started at age 15 and completed it by 19. From there, he moved across various
fabricators, tray and trailer builders, and even powdercoating — gaining the
skills that would later become the backbone of our business.

Sean’s journey was different — and tougher. Employment
opportunities were limited, and despite going through job agencies, doors
didn’t open easily. But he kept pushing. He completed school, earned a Diploma
in Graphic Design, and started designing custom projects at 3D Film Pro. Later,
he worked at employment agencies helping others with disabilities find
meaningful work — something he understood better than most.

Still wanting more, he moved into sales, eventually becoming a
sales manager in the car industry. But even with success, both of us always
knew deep down that we wanted something bigger… something ours.

The Dreams We Had as
Kids

Our vision started young. Back then, were nine and ten, we’d talk
about owning a business together — originally a motorbike shop. In those early conversations, Sean would run the front, Jamie would work out the back. Naturally, That dream stuck with us for years.

As we moved into our early twenties, we even tried to buy a mower store so we
could build something together and eventually expand into trailers. However, The bank didn’t back us — we were young, had no capital, and it simply wasn’t our time
yet.

Even So, the dream didn’t fade. Instead, It matured.

The Moment Everything
Changed

In 2019, everything clicked. Sitting at Jamie’s place, we looked
at each other and said,
“Let’s start our own business. I’ll build the trays and trailers — you do
the rest.”

It was simple. Honest. And exactly what we both wanted.

Starting with nothing. No capital. No equipment. No fancy
workshop.

We ZIP-paid our first bandsaw from Total Tools. We stretched every
dollar to breaking point, using every leftover length of steel for the next
job. Every cent we earned went straight back into tools. Every customer
mattered. Every job built our reputation.

We were working out of Jamie’s shed in Tallygaroopna, running on
determination and whatever equipment we could scrape together. Our First big purchase was an old
NC press and guillotine and‑just kept building.

Growing Against the Odds

Quickly outgrowing the backyard shed we found our first proper shed — 400sqm. It was hard to secure
because of our age, but someone believed in us and gave us a chance. That
chance changed everything.

Frontline moved in March 2020. Despite the world shutting down, our
business didn’t. By June 2020, we already had four employees. By August 2021,
we’d outgrown the space and moved into the 1500sqm shed we operate in today.

Who We Are Now

Even as we grew, our values stayed the same

  • Build what they need
  • Deliver quality
  • Communicate honestly
  • Never cut corners

We’re proud of what we’ve built because it wasn’t handed to us —
we earned it. Every tray, every trailer, every relationship… it all comes from
years of hard work, brotherhood, and refusing to give up.

And We’re Only Just
Getting Started

Our journey is proof that small beginnings don’t define your
future. What matters is heart, loyalty, and the willingness to show up every
single day — no matter the circumstances.

Frontline Trays and Trailers isn’t just our business.
It’s our story, and that’s our journey so far
Our resilience.
Our bond.
Our dream come to life.
