Q: What is this new connection? Why doesn’t it have a standard male plug for gas cylinders?
A:Â The KickAss Hot Water System comes with a new-style gas connection compliant with Australian Standards as of 01/04/2022.
Q: When do gas bottles need to change?
A:Â Any gas bottle manufactured or tested after 01/04/2022 must have the new-style connector.
Q: What if my gas bottle doesn’t have the new connector?
A: You’ll need to swap your old-style gas bottle for a new one at a swap-and-go centre (e.g., Bunnings, BP, Shell). Just ask for the correct connection when swapping.
